After running a (now hacked) craft blog and a (wildly unsuccessful) journal-style site, Sascha decided to start afresh with a creative outlet named after her, mainly because she couldn’t think of a cool edgy name but you know. Established in 2017, the blog originally showcased the forays into fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, before shifting once again into a wildly indecisive and irregular space documenting textile misadventures, the best of the camera roll – instax or iphone – and an occasion to write something other than fanfiction, Shakespeare essays, and science practical reports.
Sascha Laing – textiles enthusiast, classically trained rock pianist, sewer, endless overthinker and a consistently block-stricken writer. Owner of a Leuchtturm 1917 journal, two kazoos, a poliwhirl child named Francis Phillips, a $30 chair and $50 sewing machine off Gumtree, and a pair of velvet hotpants. Not much else.
